Speculative Thinking in Art, Literature, and Philosophy

Lecture series | 06.03. – 31.12.2013

What role does "speculative thought" play in the aesthetic realm? Is it possible to recast the dimension of the speculative in philosophy and theory based on concrete artistic techniques and issues? This lecture series does not seek to provide a conclusive definition but to propose an ensemble of speculative practices in art, literature, and philosophy.
