Animism: Learn and Experience

The Haus der Kulturen der Welt organizes activities for children and young people in connection with the project Animism. It’s an opportunity to discover art and design media or more about the background to the project.

kids&teens@hkw: During the exhibition, the HKW invites visitors do delve into the world of animation with a retrospective of the famous Japanese cartoon artist Hayao Miyazaki (“Spirited Away”) and comic and cartoon workshops. The workshops take placed in parallel with the curators’ and experts’ tours on Sunday afternoons.
A day organized by students for students (students@hkw) offers an opportunity to examine the topic of animism in greater depth.
