Morad Montazami

Morad Montazami ist Kunsthistoriker und Kurator. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind kosmopolitische Modernismen und die Geschichte der Avantgarden im südlichen und östlichen Mittelmeerraum sowie in Nordafrika. Er veröffentlichte u. a. Essays über Farid Belkahia, Bahman Mohassess, Behjat Sadr, Hamed Abdalla, Jordi Colomer und Latif Al Ani. Zu seinen kuratorischen Projekten zählen die Ausstellungen Fugitive Volumes and Faouzi Laatiris: Catalogue déraisonné, Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Rabat (2016) und die Ko-Kuration Unedited History: Iran 1960-2014, Musée d’art moderne de la Ville de Paris und MAXXI, Rom (2014). Morad Montazami arbeitet derzeit als Forschungskurator an der Tate Modern, London.
